A journey into two different dark corners of the human psyche this fortnight, as Nick and Alastair tackle The Last Of Us and Alan Partridge: Stratagem.

To steel themselves, Alastair’s enjoyed some uplifting romance with Rye Lane, while Nick’s retreated into his childhood with Sonic The Comic The Podcast.

But the fun can only last so long – it’s time to trudge into the video game adapted apocalypse with The Last Of Us (14:06). Includes discussion of deep sadness.

And then Alan awaits, as Nick and Alastair discover the faded TV star’s latest failure in Alan Partridge: Stratagem (28:01).

This fortnight, Nick and Alastair cover a popular character from much smaller screens, trying to make their way into the movies – yes, it’s Cocaine Bear. They also saw the new Luther film.

But first, Nick’s listened to new Sleaford Mods album UK GRIM, while Alastair’s attempting his regular annual Oscar predictions, underneath which Nick has added his regular annual buzzing noises.

After all that, it’s off to the woods to huff some Cocaine Bear (14:29) and find out whether it’s worth watching the whole film in addition to the trailer.

Lastly, forever-staring cop Luther returns in Luther: The Fallen Sun (24:07) on Netflix. Will glossy cinema budgets blunt Idris Elba’s edge?

This fortnight, Nick and Alastair don their capes and take flight in this all-superpowers episode, featuring Ant-Man & The Wasp: Quantumania and Extraordinary.

But first, Alastair’s voyaged to an even more distant sector of the universe with the Halo TV show, while Nick’s staying somewhat grounded with Borgen: Power & Glory.

And then it’s time to once again get sucked into the fuzzy world of the MCU with Ant-Man & The Wasp: Quantumania (11:12), a movie taking Paul Rudd’s shrinking hero to his lowest level yet.

Last of all, our heroes get wrecked and talk about urine with fun new Disney+ superpower sitcom Extraordinary (27:24).
