But first, they’ve also caught up on their streaming series, as Nick’s seen Heartstopper and Alastair’s done Foundation.
After which, it’s time to read the first volume of Love Everlasting (12:43), the surreal romance-fantasy puzzle comic by Tom King and Elsa Charretier.
Last of all, they learn some important lessons about terrorism with 2022 movie How To Blow Up A Pipeline (23:34).

But don’t worry, new comic Damn Them All (31:44) by Simon Spurrier and Charlie Adlard is exactly as demonic as you’d expect.
This fortnight, Nick and Alastair ascend to the heavenly heights of Good Omens 2, then plunge into the dirty underworld of spies in Old Dog.
Lastly, time to go underground with Old Dog (29:55), the new spy-fi comic from Declan Shalvey, but don’t worry, there’s no risk of our heroes learning any new tricks.
It’s the return of the Netflix movie double-bill this fortnight, with They Cloned Tyrone and Extraction 2.
And lastly, time to heroically blow up some vehicles and slaughter hundreds with Chris Hemsworth in Extraction 2 (23:47).
A change to the advertised programme, as Nick and Alastair both made it to the cinema to watch burning-hot new movie Oppenheimer, as well as sneaking through latest Marvel mini-series Secret Invasion.
And at the opposite end of the spectrum, they also saw Secret Invasion (28:32), the latest Marvel Disney+ event finally giving Samuel L. Jackson’s Nick Fury some spotlight.
Nick and Alastair go deep down this fortnight, delving into the criminal underworld (kinda) with Nimona, then plunging literally underground with Silo season 1.
Lastly, they study the dark secrets of Silo (24:54), the hit Apple TV series. But are our heroes about to go unusually against the media consensus?
This fortnight, Nick and Alastair take a journey into many sides of America, with the dark underbelly in Poker Face, and an altogether more whimsical angle in Asteroid City.
And how about Asteroid City (26:52), the latest movie from tweecore auteur Wes Anderson?
A brutal fortnight this time, as Nick and Alastair cover teen cannibal drama Yellowjackets and ultraviolent Finnish movie Sisu.
Lastly, our heroes relax by watching an angry commando slaughter Nazis in Sisu (
A couple of the year’s major cultural events come together here, with Spider-Man: Across the Spider-Verse and the final season of Succession.
Lastly, another era-defining release – Succession season 4 (26:57), concluding the smash hit series about horrible rich siblings destroying each other. Includes full-fat finale spoilers from
Nick and Alastair find another animated anthology to subject to an internet-friendly chart treatment with Star Wars: Visions, and are then punished by an online demon in new comic W0rldtr33.
Lastly, Nick and Alastair read unsettling internet horror comic W0rldTr33 #1 (26:44) by James Tynion IV and Fernando Blanco and try not to reflect too much on the amount of time they’ve spent online and the fact the demon is probably already in them.
